Dear Gas Cap,

You looked so bright and shiny when I pulled you out of that box the other day. You are doing a good job of keeping gas from sloshing out when I make right turns and you look really good on the outside of that shiny red truck.

But why, WHY, do you let the inside of my pickup smell like the inside of a gas can on a sunny day? I made sure you were the vented type when I picked you and I can make your seal crack just blowing on you... yet on a hot day when I smell gas and I remove you from the filler neck - there is so much pressure that it almost blows you out of my hand!

I think I'll ask my friends on the internet if they've ever seen other gas caps like you and what they did if they have.

Smelling the fumes,
