11 Hours on 1994 Paint
Hi Guys,
I wanted to share some pictures of the progress that I made this week on the pickup. My dad had the truck painted back in 1994 and it was his daily driver for quite some time, that compounded with kids running around and the Arizona sun, the paint has seen better days. I spent a little over 11 hours this week (2-3 hours a night) in an attempt to put some life back into it. It's not '100% perfect' but it looks exponentially better than it did, for the condition that it was in, I'm incredibly happy with the results. Here were the steps: Adams Clay Bar Adams Swirls and Haze Remover Adams Fine Machine Polish Adams Machine Super Wax All of the products were applied with a Porter Cable 7424, and I did at minimum 2 passes with each product. Some panels required 3-4 passes of the swirl remover. Before: After: |
