Mystery Solved!
So driving my truck still felt like piloting a boat on a lake even after I:
Replaced the upper and lower ball joints Replaced the inner-outer tie rod ends Replaced the Pitman arm Replaced the Idler Arm Replaced the inner & outer bearings Replaced the shocks Installed a heavy duty sway bar Replaced the Rims and Tires So I figured the only thing left was springs. They installed the springs then had me take a look at my shocks (The only parts I didn't install myself other than the springs.) They had been put on hand-tight. Guess they forgot to use the impact wrench. 3 had worked themselves loose and were missing the top nuts. Anyway, I had the original shop replace the shocks and now my truck drives like new! Lesson learned. |
