ride height with 2.5" drop??

So I finished the suspension rebuild/drop last night. When I put the truck back on the ground, it came out sitting way too low or so I think(pics below). Here's the specs: 2.5" CPP drop spindles, disc conversion, ECE stock? height front coils, everything else on the front end is relatively stock.

Anyway the drop seems too low, now when I pulled the old front coils out they were about 1.5-2" taller than the NEW "stock" height coils from ECE. I called ECE about this and they told me that someone had put different coils in my truck at some point in its life (which I know not to be true, I know every owner this truck has had) So against my better judgement I installed them and now the truck is sitting with the crossmember about 4" off the ground.

Is this the normal ride height for a 2.5" spindle drop??? I'll be calling ECE Monday morning to try to straighten this out
