Smile questions about a 67 c-30

when did the suspention change with the years like 1969 or etc cause i was just wondering i have a 1967 c-30 its been a wrecker all its life the guy i baught it from had it fitted back in 67 at ernest holmes with a bed and holmes 440 . and my rear suspention is trailing arms and coil springs . i just figure that was it in 67 but i see pics of dump trucks that are 67 -68 and they have leaf springs . thats why i ask this question . can anyone just expalin or have diff pics to just give me knowledge thanks
