original paint or repaint

Like a lot of you, I'm in love with my truck. !970 C10 stepside, medium iradescent bronze /white. Overall the paint is in good condition, but I have dents, scratches and some discoloration in places. I've repainted the bed rails, portions of the bed interior and the white where there was rust..now the big question: What about the rest? Some of the serious dents will need to be taken to mettle, pulled, some bondo to look right. Should I try to touch up and blend with the old paint or just paint the all of the bronze. I'd like some feedback. Thanks Lou
