Bed floor repair?

So Im making a trailer out of an extra long bed. The bed floor isnt too bad but it does have a few smaller dents and dings. I will be having it Rhino lined eventually.

I have seen several trucks that have been Rhino lined, but the little dents and dings still show up through the lining.

I was thinking of making a template of the bed groves out of a plastic bondo spreader so I could spread a thin layer of bondo over the offending dents and dings. Smooth em all up and THEN have the bed liner sprayed.

This seems like a good way to me to make a nice straight floor and have a nice smooth liner coating. I dont think the bondo will chip out with the coating over it. I know it would chip out for sure without it.

What do you guys think, good idea, or bad?
