SWB on a C6 chassis....

Been thinking about this for a while and would like some opinions. I am thinking about a project that would take a C6 vette chassis and setting a SWB setup on it. The C6 chassis wheelbase measures 105.7 and a SWB is 115 so that would leave me either cutting the torque tube and elongating that or cutting a swb bed to make it fit the chassis meausrement... with the track width in the front and rear not being a problem at just over 60 rear and just over 62 front. I would fabricate the frame rails to mount the body on... here is a pic of what I am talking about with the chassis for those who are unaware of how they look. this would also force me to move the firewall back and tube the center of the cab... so bring on the opinions, thoughts and comments, or concerns that I might be missing.
