Fender badge resto...

What's the best way to freshen up a pair of these? I picked up a pair at the swap meet this week end, and they are pretty faded out. My truck is a 1990 V3500, so it came with the bowtie and 3500 badges on the doors. My truck does have the silverado trim package, and I really like the fender badges better, so I wanted 30 series Silverado badges, but didn't find any. I'm not looking for show quality, but something that looks decent. Anybody have any tips on making a pair of these pop?

This is a picture of the style I have, but the ones I got aren't this nice actually.
