250 L6 and starter for 168-tooth flexplate

The starter on my 250 L6 blew this weekend because somewhere down the line someone took a starter for a 153-tooth flexplate and shimmed until it to reach the 168-tooth flexplate on my TH350.

I'm need to replace the starter and I'm stumped. There's a bunch of them that have the inline bolt pattern designed for my 14" flexplate, but their descriptions say they fit sb and bb V8s. Would they work with the L6 or should I stick with the ones that are a "perfect match"? Summit's SUM-829000 looks like it would work, am I missing something?
