Spray penetrant/lube with the most staying power?
Out of all those spray on penetrants/lubes, which one stays the longest? I'm talking about products like WD-40 and PB blaster and now Royal purple even has one. Which one sticks around and does its job the longest? Under normal conditions, of course. Not high heat or anything. In my experience, WD-40 wears off the fastest. I have an annoying creaky hinge on my front door to my house. WD-40 will keep it quiet for about a week and a half. Then it starts creaking again.
Same thing for my tailgate. Its opens quite noisily unless I spray some WD-40 on all the hinges and stuff. Then it will be quiet for a few days. Is there a better spray out there that will stick around for months or even years? Get tired of having to respray all my noisy hinges and such.
