I'm sorry, I need carb help.

I have been googling and reading and pouring over pictures of quadrajets, still can't find an answer.

For reference, my carb is stamped:
17083293
2372 FKK

I am trying to adjust the choke and idle settings. Additionally I would like to know if the choke linkage is assembled properly. Recently, someone I know who has experience rebuilding quadrajets, walked me through disassembling mine and putting a rebuild kit in it. When it was all said and done the choke hasn't worked properly and when I asked if the linkage was correct I got an "I think so." ...awesome...

Any help would be appreciated. I had stumbled across a really good rebuild/adjust thread a couple months ago and now I cannot find it.

Thank you in advance...

P.S. I DO NOT want to hear "quadrajunk, quadrapuke, pitch it, edelbrock, holley, etc..." I am (generally) very pleased with the design and function of a quadrajet.
