Got more work done this weekend. During the week nights after I got back in town, I blocked out one of the front fenders and started on the rear fenders. On the front, I went thru the primers all the way to the metal in a few places and had to beat down a few high spots and re-skin coat the area around the shaved marker light. This was the worst fender, so I expected to do extra work on it. I did some more work on the cab seam and a few areas where we took off the drip rails. I cleaned all the metal and shot epoxy primer over the outside of the cab, the front fender, the core support, brake booster, and the underside of the metal bed floor.
While the epoxy was wet, I looked over the cab and the roof looks terible. Small hail dents everywhere...The whole roof is going to get skim coated to make it look right. Still got some work to do on the cab, but we made progress. From this angle you can see we need to work on the cab wall below the window...
