New Guy question

Im new around here. So a quick view of what i got 69 custom c10 lwb.
i was thinking about bagging it but the more i look around and looking at the different builds on here i thinking of getting away from the bags. What i would like to know is it possible to build this lwb truck and lower it with good parts no bags and make it a handling dream or is that out of the question.

I need some advice should i keep researching bags or should i build a lowered stout suspension. personally i want a show truck not everyday driver and maybe take it to the strip.
