If you continue to have some temperature issues you might want to try adding some "Water Wetter". It doesn't lower temps as much as it claims but it DOES lower them some.

Maybe I missed it but you're running a dual master cylinder with disc/drums or all drums? its a manual master? I ask because I'm about to order POL's or CPP's manual master for my '55.2 and noticed your comment that it takes more foot pressure. We're NOT talking about dramatic increase, are we?
