Blazer body mounts
I'm new to the form. New to restoring but a long time Blazer owner. I have a 71 Blazer that was ordered and bought new by my Dad. Over the years because of life (kids and work) it has been neglected. I got the truck about 20 years or so ago. Body mount bushings are shot, doors don't shut right rockers are gone. When I was about 16 I was driving in snow and put the truck in the ditch. I think when that happened I bent the frame just a little.
Its like the right side is pushed back slightly. My question is should I replace the body mounts before or after I take to the frame shop to get it straightened. I have a lot of rust repair to do and guess I need the frame and body straight . Here is a picture of the truck right after I pulled it out of the woods where it has been setting the last 10 years. Its not a good one but will try to get better later. Thanks oh yeah and i had it running a few days later after that long..
