Frame Wireing - Dual Fuel Tanks - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have an 84 crew cab that I am getting close to putting back together but the frame wireing has been all hacked up from previous people and I also no longer have dual tanks on the truck and want to get rid of that extra wireing.

I know this is the wireing for the lights

And I believe this wire is for the sending unit. (Hooks into the engine wireing harness)

Is this the tank swich wireing?

Can I just extend the sending unit wireing and delete all the fuel tank switch wires and everything will work fine?
