Wipers won't delay and won't park in correct spot
Truck is a '84 wiper switch on the blinker lever. After reading old posts figuring the delay problem is probably the module below the column, what could cause my wipers to park in the middle of the windshield? I don't have the wiper arms on but when I watch the round splines where they would go they seem to swipe down first for guessing 1/2 of the stroke, then back up, and they park in the middle every time. If I use the single wipe feature (turning the knob clockwise) very quickly and let off they wipe down just a bit and park. then hit the single swipe again they may go down just a tiny bit but for the most part it would be wiping up accross the windshield like it supposed to.
They park like they are supposed to, but its in the wrong spot. I've cleaned the connectors at the motor. I've also ohmed the wires from the left side of the delay module out to the motor + the one black I belive thats ground. The wiring all checked out that its good from the left side of the module to the motor. What is the bolt for that sticks out of the case maybe 3/4"? In this auction you can see the bolt in the first picture at the far left side of the motor. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Windshield-w...r#ht_181wt_681
