wiring up turn-signals

I know there are several threads here about wiring up turn-signals and I have read most, if not all of them. Here is where I need help: My '52 came wired for turn signals and the switch is mounted on the column. Problem is that there is no flasher. It is a 7-wire switch. I find where the two wires have terminals on them to plug into the flasher, and I bought a 3-prong, 6V flasher (still running original 6V system). I cannot find a third wire with a terminal in the same location, so am guessing that I will have to wire the flasher into power. The three prongs on the flasher are marked, "P, L and X". Which prongs go to the terminals to the switch and which one goes to power?

Thanks,
daveboy
