I just went through your entire thread at work (shhh... don't tell my boss). You've done quite a bit of work. I do have one question, if you don't mind. When you did your exhaust cut out in the cross member, are the pipe sections you welded in necessary, or just preference? I ask because I think this is the route I'm going to go with, but seeing the wedge cut into the factory piece, I'm thinking it was meant to have a little flex, and the pipe doesn't allow for that. Maybe I'm over thinking it? Nice progress, and great job so far.
