Wonderful tool! Worth every penny!
I did a search in the TOOL section and really didn't find any useful info about this really cool tool. I bought one today and it works really well.
It's called a needle scaler. It's an air tool that uses hardened steel rods (12 of them on the mini version I bought) to chip away at scaled rust, hardened undercoating and caked on "whatever". It has certain uses, so it's not for everything and won't replace your sander or grinder. For instance, you would not use it to remove paint from a body panel. I find it useful to get into corners where disc grinders and wire wheels can't reach. Plus, it chips stuff off, instead of gumming up your grinding wheel or sandpaper. I love it.
