39 gmc

I haven't bought this yet, a 39 General Motors 1 1/2 ton truck was a flatbed that's gone just bare frame behind the cab. All the glass is in it as are the w/w the front grill & headlights are gone, but the hood & front fenders are there. I have not been to look it over yet it's on craigslist a little ways from here. It looks like the paint is real faded and only surface rust. It has a rear end in it but not sure if it has a trans or motor. the sale price was $800 and of course would like some idea if it was worth that it would have to be trailered. One thing I was wondering is the fit-ment of the cab and front end the same as 1/2 and 3/4 tons. Thanx for any answers..Vernski
