12V to Coil ? Non HEI
I ripped the entire wiring harness out of the 71 K-10 this week, I have never seen such a hack job before ? The PO installed a 110 Inverter to power a camper and it fried the harness
 . Yesterday I installed a good + and - battery cable, and ran a jumper wire to S terminal on starter to see if engine would turn over ? It did Whoopie ! Question, Can I run 12V straight to coil to see if it will run ? Or do I need to step it down to 9V ? If so How ?.....Thanks Posted via Mobile Device
