Power Steering Bracket with Porterbuilt Front Drop Member

My son is having some difficulty mounting the power steering bracket on a small block 350 with a long water pump on his '67 Chevy 2wd short bed.

He is using the factory power steering bracket from a '75 chevy 350 (which is identical to the power steering bracket for my '72 Jimmy with a 350) and it makes contact with the rack on the porterbuilt drop member before the power steering bracket is completely bolted in.

Is there a better bracket that can be used without breaking the bank?

What solutions have you used to get around this figment issue?

Thank you,
Bob
