I made my own mounting plates. I had to drill the bottom hole for the mounts but the upper 2 holes lined up fine using the 6 cyl holes. I was also able to use the CPP tranny cross member for the 4L60E and it went right into the stock crossmember holes as well. This alllowed for me to get a few inches back towards the firewall and I can get my A/C compressor to easily slide in from the front too.
Had a good junk yard score today, I was able to get the A/C inner and outer unit minus condensor for $50. All good housing and no cracks etc. Also grabbed the A/C vents from the inside as well. I was able to get a complete unmolested washer hose set up for free. Old guy is cool and will just give away small stuff like that if you pull it yourself. Cheese "smelled like mouse pee" Man
