Re: My '67 Fleetside C10 renew
I've seen some builds that use headers that don't drop down below the frame but not sure which builds they are OR the year specific.
I did find a few links that discuss headers. Some even have good pics too. What are the Best Fitting Headers for a 67-72 Chev! http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=518582 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=577016 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=533692 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=461621 A quote I copied from jd7,"The Sanderson C11 header is the cleanest, but the Headman 69640 will work as well just not as pretty" Someone else mentioned. Hedman 69260's are designed specifically for the '55-'66 trucks, and will not interfere with your clutch linkage as most 'cheap' headers will. (Not sure if these fit 67-72) http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=581654 Headers for Pacesetter TBSS Long Tube Header Install on my 6.0L in my 69' C10 This is for big block style http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=554721 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=514041 I hope some of these links help in your search for the right headers. Good luck. OH. Two engine stands face to face make an excellent small scale rotisserie for frame spinnin/fish plate/welding/grinding/painting/color sanding. |
