Long time lurker, first time owner

I'm sorta young (34) and the 67-72 truck was not something I ever thought I'd be building. Lets face it, as recent as 20 years ago these were just plain ol' trucks that not many people really cared much about. Time moves on, things change, and certain body styles age VERY well. I've had my eye out for a good solid project truck for a while and finally found a good one. It's originally from Tennessee, and compared to Ohio slugs dead from salt, in great shape. It was originally a long bed cut down and the current stepside bed is in great condition. Currently rockin' the L6/TH350 combo.

Even though the previous owners have slightly lowered the truck, I'm not satisfied with the stance and am trying to figure out what I'll need to nail the ride height. It looks like I'll need to C-notch and something like a 5/7 drop will fit the bill. Stance is job #1. Everything else will follow.

And of course a turbo LS this winter. This may be my first C10....but this sure ain't my first build!
