putting a catalytic converter on a 250?
Okay so do not shoot me but I have a question. I may be accepting a job in Germany and want to take my truck with me. It is a 1969 long bed step side. Mostly original with power steering added and the tank moved to the bed and I have added Langston headers and a dual exhaust. According to the TUV website I may be able to get historic plates and would not have to deal with emissions issues.
Funny thing though in Germany if you cannot get a historical plate then you have certain stickers that only let you drive within certain areas. If you pass emissions then you can drive anywhere. Okay so has anyone heard or now if it is possible to put a catalytic converter on a 1969 250 to get the emissions lowered? I may end up doing this first as I think it would be the cheapest way to go. I know, this may be the excuse I needed to drop in a LS3!
