Re: 1st step accomplished

I would've loved to drive it before restoration, but there are some many things that it needs to be road worthy, headlights (buckets and the hole nine yards there) previous owner must have taken the tower off of the tranny to remove because you can wabble the gearshift everywhere without a hint of a gear so I'm assuming they didn't get the shifter fork lined back up when they reinstalled it, brakes are bad, front windshield, radiator. The front fenders were removed to fix or what ever they did, and they lost most of the fasteners holding everything on it. I'm pretty sure that I can have it stripped down to a bare frame in about 45 minutes. All the wiring in the doghouse is just loose and hanging from the cab connector. So I think I will take the body off and start there getting it painted, brakes redone replace a few studs. That will make me feel really good just getting that much accomplished. This winter that is. I didn't mean for this post to be this long winded but I was painting a picture.
