How hard of a swap???

A buddy of mine wrecked his 94 chevy truck recently and has offered his engine, tranny and complete rearend to me. The truck has a 383 stroker he built along with a 4L80-E with the 5 lug rear with posi and all wiring and computer all in great shape for $1500. How hard would it be to swap? Also his truck is a short bed and im lwb...
Sorry been in the Subaru scene for over ten years, this would be my first Chevy swap..

Thought price was good.. thanks for any input.

Thanks
Eric
