Donor trucks for disc brakes - GMC same as Chevy?

Hey all,

From reading many threads I see that for a 66 GMC C20 you can use up to (I think) and 87 Chevy C10 subframe/front suspension/brakes and pretty much bolt it in with a few holes drilled.

My local yards don't have any Chevy C10s in the year range, but they do have a few GMCs. Anyone know if, for example, on an 86 GMC C10 the suspension/brake setup was different than a Chevy, or if it's a straight-forward swap as well?

If it is I'll go grab the parts soon!

Thanks!
