taping wheels while its in the shop
I saw a thread the other day where they had the blue looked like painters tape really thick on the wheels. It was in all the crevices and everything. It actually didnt look half bad
I was in my shop the other day and noticed my brand new wheels have grinding dust and crap all over them. Im going to wipe them down really well and dry them and then I want to tape them up. I think it will protect them from "shop dirt" and also small things knocking against them. I think the wheels are powder coated since they are black. Any problem taping them for a long period of time without removing it? Any specific tape I should use that will be better than an other? found the pic on chicksdigit build thread http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=576959&page=3 Last edited by JointTech; 12-05-2013 at 06:12 PM. |
