So anyone that has worn out hood hinges or a set of Porterbuilt hood hinges knows that you have to wedge your fingers between the hood and grill to get it open. Well, surfing through the for sale section of the boards, I found this little gem sold by member Pickemup.



I have to say 30 second install and works like a charm. The only modifcation that I might make is weld the spring to the mounting plate as it jingles around a bit.

He is only offering these for a limited time, but is a perfect solution to the problem.
