55-59 on 70's frame question
I've got a lead on a 1955 sitting on a 70's truck frame ( I think a '73). I don't care for the front track width from the frame swaps that I've seen. They look more suited for 4x4's and I prefer my classic pickups on the low side.
So my question is what would be the best option to get it looking and sitting right that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg? Is there a simple fix that I haven't heard of? I haven't gotten to lay eyes on the truck yet, I'm not even sure if it's a rust bucket. I was just curious if anyone had dealt with this issue. If another frame swap is the only the fix then I won't waste my time going to look at it. Thanks.
