FS: 1969 Chevy K-20 CST QUAD CAB! $2400 OBO
Trying to sell this for my dad, since its sale will help fund my new little project ('72 C10 single cab/longbed).
He's owned this truck since 1990 and always taken care of it like my family does with all the vehicles on our farm. It has always served faithfully for pulling anything from a 32' flatbed gooseneck to a 4-horse trailer. Oil changed every 3500 miles. I believe it has about 140k on the odometer but not exactly sure. It is a K20 (3/4 ton) but has 1-ton rear springs in the back because of how much we used it to tow a gooseneck The cab on this is a custom built coach from Fischer bodies (as evidenced by the fischer logos on the chrome rocker pieces). The front and rear doors are the same in this custom cab and so all four have smoking (triangle) windows. There is bad rust in the rockers and where the rockers meet the cab, and sheetmetal screwed to that spot to keep the cab from flapping and doing more damage. Doors are fairly good, fenders are also fairly good. Paint is crappy and there are a few pieces of bent trim and scrapes but no major damage. Floors are fairly solid, shouldn't need much attention. I don't think the wheel wells are rotted either. Bed is a longbed with wood floor. In the center of the bed is a 1/2" steel plate bolted through the frame for a fifth wheel (gooseneck) trailer. Truck includes an ugly blue topper and spare. Had dual tanks but only one installed. AM/FM Cassette radio. Dash IS NOT hacked up. Most glass is good. Mechanically it has a 350CI Target Master engine, 4 speed manual (I beleive muncie) with a rockwell (divorced?) transfer case, both floor shift. Power to the fronts is transfered thru Warn lockout hubs and the rear has a No slip positraction carrier with 4.56 gears. There is a dual electric heater underneath the seat for heating this beast. Tires are 9.50X16.5, new radiator in 2001 and brand new points last week. We're selling this because my family acquired a really nice '89 crewcab 1-ton. Truck is located in Delano, MN which is about 30 miles west of Minneapolis. Truck starts, runs, and drives just fine. It *COULD* be driven to california if you so desired. I can deliver to within about 600 miles for $.70/mile one way, or it can be picked up. I have pictures but my crappy FTP server is down at the moment. Email me at botboy60 (at) hotmail.com if you are interested. |
