66 C10 3.5/5in lowering questions.

I'd like to lower my 66 C10 3.5" front and 5" in the rear. Will I need to put in a drop crossmember or relocate the shocks with the amount I want to lower the truck? Was reading the LMC catalog I got today and they say you need a drop member with 4" or more of drop and relocate the rear shocks with 3" or more of drop? In the planning stages of my build right now so I want to order the right parts the first time. Also planning a 4 wheel disk conversion. Thanks
