BADAZ chevy guy Registered User Join Date: Mar 2014 Location: Clearfield Utah Posts: 638	VIN question The 4th number in the VIN for my 1977 indicates that it's a "Heavy" 1/2 ton. CCL447####### I'm not sure what all is different between the Heavy and regular half tons for that year.
