Re: New project, '60 Chevy pick up!!
Back on track guys, work keeps getting in the way
![]() First thing what was on my "to do"list was removing the gastank, don't get me wrong I'm a petrol head but don't wanna smell it all day long! ![]() From the start of the build I wanted a new'ish engine in there, was looking for engine and gearbox but found a beautifull donor car with low mileage. And it was "dead" cheap!! ![]() ![]() So last saturday was the day of heart surgery, me and my buddy was at it and by lunch she was out, all wires and sensors still in tact!! I'm gonna run the EFI in the old girl ![]() ![]() And when buying a complete car you have the benefit of getting ALL of the car, so masterbrake cilinder out, washer botlle, battery, radiator, wiper motor, seats, stereo with sat nav!! brakes, rearaxle tyres....the lot!! ![]() And sunday we made it cleaning the front end day... ![]() ![]() ![]() So this is where I'm at , coming saturday I hope we can start lifting the V8 in the hole and start making engine and gearbox mounts. ![]() To be continued! |
