Finally Got The Rally's Installed
So it looks like the threat of snow is finally gone in the northeast so I finished blasting the 15 x 8 rims and got them painted up and put 255/70's on them. The only issue I had was putting the center caps on the front. The screws they gave me were a little too long and bottomed out on the drums. A grinder took care of that issue.
Here's Olive before... Here are a couple of shots with the new wheels. I like the rims and all but I'm a little disappointed how they fill the wheel wells. I was expecting them to fill it in more. In fact it looks like the rear is jacked up more for some reason. I wasn't planning on lowering the truck but now I'm not sure. It's a leaf rear so my options are limited unless I want to pay $400(ouch!) for a set of lowering leafs. I don't like the idea of doing the flip so I will skip that option. I am planning on switching the front to disk so I could do the drop then. For now I think I'll get the shackle kit first and see how that looks. This is a truck I saw a while ago that I am hoping to get the stance of. Jim
