HD driveshaft carrier bearing removal?

I need to replace the carrier bearing in the truck I'm driving, any tricks/tips? I haven't dealt with the HD style before, just the light duty type with the slip yoke at the trans. It looks like it should just press off, am I correct on that? I messed with it some and it seemed to be stuck pretty good; I think it's probably just seized on from age, but I want to make sure before I get aggressive with it.

Also, any idea where to get a new splined seal for the slip yoke?
