Few Questions 68 SWB

1 - I am trying to figure out how much drop is on my. I bought the truck as is and am not sure how much it is. I recently bought some shocks from CPP for a 3" front and 5" rear drop. On the fronts I had to lean on the fender while my brother put the shock on the top stud. The spring measures 13in from the bottom to the top coil. This was measured with the coil off the truck, and down the middle of the coil.

2 - The PO had install 73+ control arms, am in the process of rebuilding them with poly bushings. I am wondering if you can y just the shells without a bushing in them. I am having problems getting the old rubber out of the shell.
