A/C mounting

The A/C is down on my truck due to the wreck a couple of months ago and the compressor leaks too, so I was wanting to rebuild the system. The only thing I realy don't like about it is the compressor mounting bracket. It is the one on the passenger side that bolts to the exhaust manifold, over the valve cover and on to the intake. Is there another mounting system I could use with this or another type of compressor that is a little nicer? I have newer heads with accessory holes in them if that helps.
BTW I have a '67 C-10, short W/P, power steering, with a 350. Thanks.
