Steering column help

The previous owner of my 1964 c10 truck used duct tape to secure the long steering column tube to the cup that holds the turn signal assembly. At the end of the tube are three ears that I'm assuming slide in and twist to connect the tube to the cup. However, my cup does not have any slots to accept the ears......hence the reason for the duct tape?? I found another cup, but it does not have the hole for the emergency flasher knob. Can someone take a look and give me some directions on what piece(s) I'm missing?
