Need help with the suspenion

I'm getting ready to purchase a 2007 Silverado Reg Cab SWB Z71 and it has a 6" lift on it with a chrome full brush guard and a Warn 15000 pound winch. I'm going to remove the brush guard and winch and sell them (new condition). I want to remove the lift and take the truck back to stock height or at a minimum down to a 3" lift height.

My question is... Can a 6" lift be adjusted down to a 3" height?

What is involved and needed to take it back to stock height? It has a 6" fox racing suspension lift kit on it I believe.
