Cool CL score

Yesterday I'm bored at work so I take 5 minutes and scan the auto parts section of my local CL. I see an ad entitled "Chevy Truck Tailgate" and click on it for giggles.

Last night, this followed me home for the princely sum of $100. Laser straight and undamaged save a few scratches from sitting in someone's basement for a few decades. Seems a tenant in this guy's apartment left this behind after skipping out on $5k of rent. Looks like it was taken off a new truck.

Washed it up tonight and put it in my parts loft until I get to doing the body on the 71, maybe next year.
