Random squealing from rear end in revers, low forward speed, and turning

05 chevy silverado 1500 2wd has a strange squealing sound coming from the rear end. When you put it in reverse it makes a squealing sound but only when it's rolling. When going forward at low speed it squeals but when you get above about 5mph it stops. It also happens when you make a somewhat sharp turn at speed above about 15 mph. We replaced the rear drums, front rotors, and front brake pads a few days after this happened and it continued. Old drums and rotors did not have any grooves indicating uneven wear, they were just worn thin from everyday wear. What could cause this squealing? It isn't the sound of brake drums or discs dragging (I know that sound a little too well from my last truck) but it definitely sounds like metal on metal
