Chevy truck wheels all the same?

I'm wondering if a set of wheels off a modern Chevy will fit my '67. My '67 is a mostly original 2wd long bed C10. I badly need new tires, and want something taller than stock to reduce cruising RPM. My 15x5.5 wheels won't fit many big sizes, maybe a 235/75R15 or 30x9.50/15. I've been browsing used tires, and mounted tire/wheel combos. It looks like a lot of late-model owners are buying new rims and have the originals available with tires still on them. Most of these are 6 lug on 5.5" center line, which would fit if the back spacing is close. Should I be considering this option at all?
