Front brake line clearance issue with dropped spindles?

I was at the exhaust shop earlier and took the opportunity to inspect the underside of my truck while it was up on their drive-on rack. The thing that immediately grabbed my attention was that the driver side brake line was smashed against the McGaughy 2.5" dropped spindle. Dafuq?? I don't know how I hadn't noticed it until now, but I suppose that's neither here nor there... The passenger side is tight, but not like the other side.

My question is, can I just slightly bend the hard portion of the line until it clears the spindle? Using minimal pressure and without kinking the line, of course... Can I turn the banjo fitting 180º? Has anyone had this issue before??

Thanks in advance!
