1962 2WD conversion to 4x4 - use '62 torsion bars for IFS?
Hi all,
I'm wondering if it's possible to retain the original torsion bars to convert a 1962 C20 to an IFS 4x4 (using parts from a 88 and up 4x4)? Or even to replace the '62 bars with the later model torsion bars? Or is the only way to do the conversion is to swap out the whole front drivetrain with a solid axle and leaf springs?
