I bought a rebuilt 700R4 for my truck a few months back, but have changed my mind for the umpteenth time and bought a NV4500 instead. Note that I trusted the guy selling me the trans to be honest and I have not cracked the case to verify what's in it, but it has both the sticker and stamping from a well-known South Jersey rebuilder (Ziggy's) and after spending a lot of time with the guy either I'm very naive or he's honest and it's a good trans. The story was he had a car in and the owner didn't pay for the work he did so he took the car on a mechanic's lien and parted it out. Includes a flexplate, starter and driveshaft (from a Camaro) for this but no TC. Happy to try to box and ship this but would greatly prefer a local buyer.
